I have an s13 with ichiba 5 lug conversion front and rear.

I have rpf1 17x9.5+18 all around with tuner lugs.

I've never run spacers before so I need to know what needs to be done and what's available.

I am a little bit confused with what to get as there are different stud 'knurl' options... as well as a variety of spacers. Some in aluminum, some in magnesium, different sizings, etc...

I recently got a bn blister widebody (the 50mm front and 70mm rear) and well... the 9.5s are tiny lol...

I am contemplating getting some 30mm or even 35mm if there is such a thing spacers front and rear to fill up those MASSIVE widebody arches... and it still may not be enough.

I currently have hub centric rings that were supplied from enkei with the wheels... so I am guessing I need 'hub centric' spacers... to make it work with these wheels.

Aluminum or magnesium? Doesn't magnesium rust?? but is stronger/lighter (possibly)?

What about studs?

What would you guys recommend? Sorry to sound naive but I've never run spacers before. I want something high quality that won't break or crack under stress.

Thanks, you're the man. I'm going to guess I need nothing more.

I just have the funny feeling even 30mm won't be enough to fill up this widebody lol a h well :D Fun times.

Also stupid question but are these hub and stud centric. Hub centric i understand but stud centric what does that exactly mean? I am guessing it means the way the studs are spaced out in between each other, or not?

And will I need extended studs for this setup? If so what would you recommend.

There are some people that run 50mm spacers. That would make your RPF1's a solid -28. Those would murder your wheel bearings. Just get wider wheels or less aggressive aero.

50mm wow?

Nah I just got these wheels this summer, ill be getting wider wheels front and rear like 18x11 front and 18x12ish rear but not any time soon. Probably next year whichll be great for the widebody like so.

50mm sounds insane :D lol

Yeah 30mm is a bit much, but with a +18 offset starting point it won't be too bad on the bearing. Just make sure you trust your torque wrench.

Hub centric vs. stud centric has to do with where the weight balancing occurs on the wheel. As the idea of spacers is to become a "part of your wheel," you should match weight distribution properly.

PBM spacers are hub centric, and there's a 99% chance your wheels are hub centric.

No need for extended studs at all, just check out that link and how they look on my car. The original studs are used to fix the spacer to the hub, and then you have studs built into the spacer. Great design, pretty common among reputable manufacturers.

right now, those rpf1 are probably about flush.now you're adding a 70mm fender which will make you 70mm from flush.

to be flush you will need a 70mm spacer.

get those 30mm spacers, but damn, get some wide wheels to do the BN kit some justice

Dude get wheels that fit, spacers that large are unsafe, and technically can fail most states safety inspection.
