Take that out, take a momentary push button switch, and put 2 spade connectors on the end so you can plug it where the fuse was. I suggest taking the 5A fuse and tying it somewhere in your switch line. Now, after you turn your headlights off, your motors w ill only move when you tap that button. Longer tap = down farther. When you get it where you want it, turn your headlights back on.
That's kind of what i did, i got a momentary on/off switch but its spliced to the headlight switch wiring. Same idea though, hold it down and the headlights will go all the way down, tap it, and you get sleepy eyes.

First thing I did was the sleepy eye mod by taking out the switch and cutting the brown wire. Is there any way to have the headlights turned on while its in the sleepy eye position? Thx.
Congrats on finding another s13!Sleepy-eyes are obligatory! Question is, do you want to drive with your headlights in sleepy mode? Because you won't be able to see crap, at least there would be a sharp cut-off to your headlight's perimeter. I suggest doing the switch thing so you have more control. Also, if you want some 'illumination' when the lights are in 'sleepy mode' try getting aftermarket glass H4 housings with 194 bulbs inside. That's what i have, you can see in my sig. I used amber bulbs in mine...looks awesome at dusk!
