question about single turbo.

water cooled or oil cooled? just want to run around 400whp on stock internals, will oil cooled be okay? or am i wasting my money? i picked up a used kit off ebay for 3000

Turbo Garrett 60-1/ (Turbo, Journal Bearing Garrett T3/60-1compressor (T04S housing) with 4" inlet and 2.5" outlet. StageIII Turbine wheel with T31 4 bolt exhaust housing. Oil Cooled Only - NOT Watercooled. Uses T3/4 oil feed flange and drain flange. Great 550 HP Turbo. Available A/R)

- TiAL 38mm External Wastegate (Silver Top)

- TiAL 50mm Blow-off Valve (Purple Top)

- Front Mount Intercooler

-Piping Downpipe

- Intercooler Piping

-Oil Pan Spacer

- Stainless Braided Oil Feed and Return Lines

- 550cc (Set of 6 direct fit) Injectors

- AEM Fuel Ignition Controller

is that worth th money, kits got about 3000miles on it or should i just send it back?

most turbo's have water cooled center sections these days, the turbo stays cooler and lasts longer with the help of water cooling

its a single turbonetics with custom piping (4in) do you think i should do it? or just cough up the extra 1500 and get a brand new one?

get one watercooled, will last longer probably, turbos spin upward of 60 000rpm

correction, turbo's spin at speeds exceeding 100,000 rpm
