question about s14 to s15 conversion front end

Hi i was woundering about s15 conversion my boys told me i need to get a s15 core support how ever they are not sure if i need s15 Front Reinforcement or not due to the body kit.

o yes the coversion body kit is from http://www.creativeautoonline.com/bodykits.asp

s15 full conversion body kit N-1

any 1 know if i need the Reinforcement bar?

probably superior nissan will be able to get it. Doubt you'll need the bar though. The core support might be something you'll like to have on hand, but probably not absolutely necessary if you're handy with a sawzall and a torch.

You absolutely DO NOT need an s15 core support to do a s14 to s15 nose. The core support is welded in place and has to be cut out and the new one welded in. The biggest difference between the s14 and s15 is behind the headlights on the s14 is solid, the s15 has holes for the back side of the headlight buckets. I solved this with a big hole saw. Take the headlight assemblies to the hardware store and get a hole saw sightly larger than the round part of the housing that covers the lowbeam projector. The very front outside corners of the frame rails (right and left) may have to be noched for clearance for the wraparound lights.

k thank you hmmm sound good however i'am going to have to repalce the core support due to pass owner welded it him self, and i dont think he knows how to weld since it loos like a7 year old kid was playing with it.

P.S will post pics of the car now and when it is done hopfully by Sept. Nov. the least hehe thanks agan.
