question about s14 auto trans into s13

my brothers auto trans went out in his 93' 240sx, it wont shift out of second. i recently bought an 95' s14 motor and it came with an auto trans, motor and trans ran good when i pulled it out.

so my question is can i put the s14 trans in to the s13 if i change the speed sensors and maybe rewire whatever i need to?

they look identical im just not sure if one has an obvious difference that will stop me from using that trans.

if it is an earlier 95 model, the auto might be identical. but yea they work, you will probably have to do a lil wiring.

yes you can. My friend has a s13 that he just crashed (ROFL), he has a sohc KA24E and an automatic trans from a 96 240sx.

what had to be changed sensor wise?

you shouldnt have to change anything sensor wise the are pratically the same thing just one newer then the other
