I have a question for the 2011 Rogue owners (equipped with the regular OEM radio + six speakers, not the one with navigation). Did you hear anything from your rear speakers? I have to move the fader to 80% rear to hear something :frown: . Is it a common problem for 2011 Rogues, or mine has a problem?

Thank you. :)

I notice that long ago. Once I sat in the back to see how the speakers sounded and I notice it was suprisingly weak. Did the whole balance thing and asking myself what the heck was going on.

Anyways, I credit this to the basic radio set-up. Definitely not equal in sound levels with the front. Really does not bother me since I don't blast it as loud as I use to. I also found the sound of the standard radio as muffled. But the C.D's sound crisp enough.

Moreover, I heard that changing the stereo unit would achieve a better sound. :woot:

Well, I Tried it out And My fave song Super Bass was playing on the radio since I didn't have my Zune with me..... But your right, Front are stronger but,
1. There are 4 speakers up front. and like 2 in the back.
2. I think the The Speakers by the Windshield are suppose to Bounce the sound to the rear as your moving lol.

And Question are There 7 Speakers in the 2011 Rogue SV?
I just now counted 7 speakers.
2 by the windshield, 2 on front doors, 2 rear doors, and 1 in the center above the Stereo. but Idk if that center speaker is a speaker.

The center speaker only comes with the SL Package that includes the BOSE audio system:
SL Package:
- Nissan Navigation System with 5.0-inch color touch screen
display and XM NavTraffic® Real-Time Traffic Information
(XM® subscription required, sold separately)
- Bose® premium audio system with 7 speakers plus subwoofer
BTW, same goes for the MY08-10 models.

:chuckle: it is just a perforated plastic piece. If your Rogue has a Bose sound system, then there should be a speaker and a white "bose" logo on the plastic cover.

Actually when I first saw the car at the dealer, I found that round speaker detail pretty ugly.

At first I thought there is a speaker underneath. But nope, no speakers. Just two front speaker on the front doors, two rear speakers on the rear door and two tweeters on the dashboard.

However, I cover that ugly perforated plastic with a plastic disc that came with my TomTom GPS and attack the suction cup holder to that disc. I hate the GPS suctions on the wind shield. Now it looks better.
