I need new wipers for my versa, but i am wondering if i need to go to the dealership to get new ones. the few i have seen at auto parts stores are to equal sized ones instead of a big one and a small one.

so basically do i need the dealer to do this, or can i get them some where from a shop ?

thank you

Some stores sell wipers individually. If you can find them individually then I'm sure it would be much cheaper than the dealer. I have been looking at wipers before. I wanted to get a set of winter wipers and I could never find the correct size for the passenger. Here in Ontario we have wipers sold individually at Canadian Tire, Wal-Mart, Zellers, etc. Check out local stores like Wal-Mart or Target, they will be cheaper than the dealership.

that's the problem i am in, it's the little one that has the problem, canadian tire and home depot only carry long ones, i guess i am stuck with dealer then to get the little one replaced.

At canadian tires, I saw the the one for passanger side in the little electronic "book" where you enter brand, model and year of your car, they have it for the 2007 versa, not always in stock but they can get it, and sold individualy. Don't know if all years versa use the same size tho.... When I looked, they didn't have all size in all model (reflex, and such other kind of wiper) but at least, you could had replacement.... Hope that help a bit

NAPA auto parts has all three wipers in stock.

For the passenger side for winter blade I use a 14 inch blade and have no problem with clearance between the drivers side and passenger side and use a 13 inch wiper blade for the summer. NAPA also carries the rear wiper blades for the hatch back models as well.

The front passenger side wiper insert will also fit the rear wiper. I know this because that's what I got for ours, and it fits perfectly and works fine.

One of the best things I've EVER done for any of my cars is replace the stock wipers with Michelin Radius. The improvement is inexpressible.

If you just go with inserts for the stock wipers, that's one area where you WILL regret cheaping out. Get GOOD ones and you'll be glad you did. Get cheap ones and you'll end up throwing them away and buying good ones anyway.

Radius and their like are easy to install in the driveway. Hang onto your old brackets just in case, you'll be able to re-use them.

You can easily go to a store like an Auto Zone, they will tell you which lengths you need to buy.

I recommend the Bosh Icon's - they are amazing wipers that last forever and have done the best wiping job I've ever seen.
