Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

I'm swapping out ka for ka and trying to remove as much unneccessary things in the proccess. I was wondering about taking off the "EGR and canister control solenoid valve" and the "SCV control solenoid valve". They are the two plugs on the back of your motor and they go to the carbon canister. We plan on removing the carbon canister so can we just take those two plugs off as well? Or should we just block the vacuum hoses that used to go to the canister and just plugs these guys back in? From what we can tell from reading the FSM it probably won't do anything, but we just want to make sure. Any help is appreciated.
