Hello I just replaced the return hose on my friends 1998 200sx. I was wondering if I could just go ahead and recharge the system or do I need to have the lines evacuated first? And what is the factory recommended psi amount when refilling "I know it depends on the ambient air temp" but examples would definately help.

thanks in advancewei

says, "yes! you'll need to evacuate the system & to see if it holds it, just to be sure of a closed system & to remove the ambient air/moisture..."

as for the amount for your vehicle; does it say so on the underhood label?

if not, i'll leave that to NISTECH

Make sure to replace the dryer and make sure you use all new o-rings. Have it evacuated by someone who knows what they're doing, and only recharge it if you know what you're doing. (hint: if you're using one of those little "recharge hoses" with the little blue/green/yellow/red gauges on it sold by interdynamics, you don't)
