So my car is 92 Nissan 240sx. When I go around corners or over some bumps it clunk in the back. I am aware that this is the problem due to rear subframe bushing because I have already replaced the shocks and springs. With the shot rear subframe bushing, can I just buy the SPL rear subframe bushing collar with the hole bushing still in?

Will the clunk noise go away? Is this just a temporary fix? Should I later buy the solid aluminum bushing from SPL?

Thanks

yeah dude go buy the spacers, it solved my problems, but my rear right side was too worn so it still kinda make a clunk clunk noise, but not nearly as loud or bad as before.

Made the car stiffer alittle and it handles a little better. Total work $74 from SPL. If you plan on taking the subframe out, either get new bushing with the spacers, or just the full aluminum bushing for SPL.

Its a good buy so yeah do it!!

go to nismoparts.com and buy the subframe bushings. those "filler" ones will make more irritating noise than before. I had the same problem, the caps won't fix it. I think i paid $160 for the bushings. then put the aluminium caps on for stiffness!!! cheers.
