I have this altima for roughly 2 years. It's been good to Me but recently my exhaust pipe rusted out so I had cat to exhaust replace. Upon getting my car back I had an engine light on which the mechanic I went to said "Oh we can look at it but it will cost 100 to diagnose the problem" So I went down to an auto part store and with an odb reader found out it was spitting out this code
P0141
02 sensor heater
circuit malfunction
Bank 1 Sensor 2
I had purchased this altima with an aftermarket exhaust already on it so I'm not quite sure how he installed it. Anyone know what I can do to fix this? or better yet..anyone know someone in Connecticut that can fix it? I'm pretty flexible this week. And of course I have registration coming up in less then 2 weeks so I need to get this code fixed.

To me it seems like the 02 sensor wire got cut or the 02 connector was unplugged and was not plugged back in. Given the age of the car it can actually be that the 02 sensor is bad also and needs replacement.
