On the rb25 and rb20 do you have to cut anything to get the motor to fit?

no, you don't have to cut anything, just have to shave the dump pipe from the turbo to clear the steering if you using stock mount.

on a s13.

on a s14 with a rb25 unless you have mckinney mounts your gonna need a custom o2housing/downpipe.

Alright, since you have an s13 and plan on swapping in an RB25, you WILL have to indent the starter area on the firewall if you are using McKinney mounts or a modified R33 x-member. If you are using the stock R33 x-member I'm not sure but I tried to squeeze in my RB25 first using the R33 x-member (modified) and mounts and then with the KA x-member and McKinney mounts and neither would work without banging in the firewall a bit. I probably went a bit overboard in retrospect but I've got plenty of clearance now. The only cutting I did was for my FMIC piping but it was quite minimal. Even if you are planning on using the SMIC, you will have to cut a bit. You will also need a custom downpipe (~$150 at the local muffler shop.)
