Question about racing seat bracket

I was hoping some of you would have the knowledge to help me here. I purchase a racing seat and separate set of mounting brackets from corbeau. Anyway the brackets are nowhere near able to fit into the wholes from my stock seat brackets in my 350z. Am i suppose to drill holes in the floor boards or what? I have tried emailing and calling corbeau but to no avail. Can someone please give advice?
