Question about potential motor swaps in Datsun roadster

Fairlady, Datsun Sports, Roadsters... whatever you want to call them, this is the place to discuss the Datsun SPL311 and SRL311!

Before I start, I know I should search, but I have not been on this forum in quite a while and I no longer know where the advanced search is. However, my question is, are there any known, possible swaps for the roadster (either 1600 or 2000)? I know the 510s and Zs can host a variety of engines, but will the roadster be able to accomodate either the SR or KA? What other swaps are known/are possible? Is the F20C (Honda S2000 motor) a feasible swap?

Thanks in advance,

Earl

Crap, I just found the SEARCH button. Sorry, I'm a little bit drunk right now.

The roadster will fit a Ka, or SR, or even a VG motor for sure.

I'd like to see someone squeeze a VH in one

I have seen Roadsters with SR, KA, CA, and VG swaps.

I have also seen some with the 3.8 231 ci Buick V6 as well as a 2.3l engine from the old Mustang / Capri.

My '70 has of all things, a very tidy fuel injected GM 2.2 from the S series pickup. Even has OBD2. Looking at these cars, a lot of different engine swaps are possible.

WAY cool, RCD. Love to see some pics of it.

Since this thread started, I have seen 302 Ford swaps, as well as LSx and a cool drivetrain swap from a Solstice / Sky.
