question about painting....

Hello evedryeone,

I was wondering if i could just paint the stillen strut bar and hood dampers with dupli-color engine spray paint?

Is there any sanding that would have to be done or can i just go at it with no worries? I want to know before i actually take the plunge and do it. I want my engine bay to be gleaming with white ahha. so far i only painted my engine cover,

Powercoating it would be more permanent but if you want to hit it with some spray paint I would suggest sanding it a little bit to make the paint stick a bit better.
