ok so i know the rb lower harness has a wire for the oil pressure gauge that is stock on the r32 cluster. my question is can i take that wire and hook it up directly to my hpc oil pressure gauge? the hpc gauge has two wires so is one ground and the other the sgnal wire?

I was under the impression the stock Oil Pressure sender was basically an low-pressure on/off switch that just lit up the dummy light in the dash below a preset PSI. I may be wrong though.. I do know the port size is 1/8 BSPT though

BTW did your gauge come with a sender/sensor? And sorry for my moment of ignorance, what does HPC mean, is it a brand name or something...

they do have one for the dummy light but the second wire is for the oil pressure gauge in the r32 cluster.

hpc is a brand.

it might work but the reading will probably be useless (inaccurate). the sender needs to match the gauge
