So I really don't know much about these things, but I have some wheels picked out for my car (Konig Incident 17x7). They require an adapter as they are 5 lug and the adapter is 15mm. Offset on the wheels is 40. Would my car look retarded with this setup?

If it matters I'm planning on Tanabe NF210 springs soon as well.

It is a wider rim, so it would poke out but not ridiculously. I have Spec V rims with +47 offset and gotta use 5mm spacers, its gonna be slightly poking out.

^^^^no it wont, +30mm and 7" wide wheels will BARELY poke....

ado, you will need 25 mm adapter in order to clear the studs. 15mm adapter will leave some stud sticking out and the wheels will fit them. but it should only p0ker just over a half inch.

Thanks for the replies guys... I was on the phone with a guy at discount tire direct and he informed me that I actually can get those wheels for 4 lug, but they are on national backorder right now with no ETA. I really want those wheels so I have a bit of a dilema now... I need to get my winter tires off probably by may (although we did just get snow lastnight :S) but if those wheels don't come in for a couple months... I don't want to wait that long.

A little off the topic but so far from the phone conversation I highly recommend discount tire direct!

So I am going with different wheels... Drag DR-34. Gunmetal with machined lip. Offset is 42 I beleive, but no need for spacers/adapters.

Yeah... I wish the other ones would have worked but I do like the DR-34's and I had actually been looking at wheels of a similar design that a friend was selling not long after I got the car in 2008, and the more I look at these ones the more I like the, so I am going to go ahead and order them up!

Any tire recommendations? Looking at Kumho Ecsta AST in the 215/45 17 size. I don't really need some high performance tire, and these seem to have some sidewall to them which I like as well. Also, the price is right... $276 for a complete set (after $60 instant rebate). In Canada... that is unheard of. That works out to about $266 Canadian. I am pretty stoked about this deal right now.
