Question about my wastegate

Ive got a Turbonetics wastegate and was wondering about something.

There are two barb fittings for vacuum lines or something. I know that one of them goes to a fitting after the turbo on the IC pipes.

I just dont know were the one on the top goes to. It says Vacuum next to it so does it go to a vacuum line or were? A friend told me that you dont need to do anything with it. You can leave it open.

I just dont think thats right but it works on his wastegate (not a Turbonetics Deltagate like mine)

try the nipple on your TB (the bottom one)
