when i purchased my car it had stock replacement struts with eibach prokit springs, the car body rolls like crazy and it doesnt look any lower than a stock one. So I want to lower the car and definitely get rid of most of the body roll, should i cut my springs some and get sway bars or should i ditch the springs all together in favor of s tech's from searching it seems everyone goes that way (sway bars and s tech springs) i'm also looking for a relatively inexpensive way to do this (which is why im considering chopping my springs some). any input is appreciated,

you should probably get some sport struts, that are made for when you lower you car... after that, if your car is still too high, then get some lower springs.. DO NOT CUT LINKS OFF SPRINGS... after that, if you still have too much body roll, then get front and rear sways(help alot) and possibly look into getting front and rear strut bars.... also, somewhere in there you might want to replace all of your bushings... trust me... they help a lot if your still getting too much body roll, get coilovers

Of course going with S Techs and sway bars will help more than cutting the springs, it will cost more money though.

You shouldn't put lowering springs on stock shocks, because the shocks will bottom out often, eventually leading to the destruction of the shock. If you don't want to put up all the money for a set of coilovers, look into a good shock/spring combo. A lot of people go with KYB AGX, so check those out. If you are shopping for a new set, look in the NICO Marketplace. You'll find the best deals there.

BTW, the Wheels/Tires/Suspension forum will get you more replies than the Tech forum.
