I have a quick question regarding my 93 Acura Legend.

Ok I called Firestone who does a lot of the work on my cars.

I asked how much for a Tune up. He replied 55 bucks. But then he asked "wait is it the v6" to which I replied yes. Then he said "Oh that one takes platinum plugs so it's going to be around 150 bucks"

So my question is. Does this make sense to anyone? I put platinum plugs on my S14 and the price difference is a mear 4-5 bucks per plug.

No, the difference between standard plugs and platinum is nowhere near that much. Actually, the difference between Iridium and standard isn't that much. Give Autozone a call and see what plugs they have listed for your car. I've never heard of certain cars requiring Platinum plugs. That sounds like BS to me. And you really need to ask what he considers a "tune-up" other places may do more than some. I know I did a pretty thorough tune up on my Mustang for 150 and that was just for parts since I did it myself. Honestly, all a tune up consists of is new dizzy cap+rotor, plug wires, plugs, new oil + oil filter, fuel filter, fuel injection cleaning, and motor flush. All you really need. You can do this yourself as well if you've ever done any sort of car work before. Save yourself 90 or so what they would charge you for an hour of work or more if they take their time.

Found a guy who did it for 70 bucks parts included. Family friend so he didn't charge me much.
