Yep, that's where I got my cable from. Around $6 after shipping 4 or so months ago. Works like a champ with my MP3 player, soon to play my navigation and audio from the GPS unit.zer0c123 wrote:The slot that you're talking about is for the IPBUS cable. You can get it cheap on ebay.
This man speaks the truth (if you have a USB hook up) Saves you a lot of money! just don't leave it sitting in the open inside your car.Didderson wrote:A friend of mine used the cable that comes with your Ipod. Connecting it to your computer. Same usb plugs. If you've killed an Ipod in the past like me (washing machine ) you have extra cables!
I have the radioshack headphone cable, You just look at the back of the deck and if you have an aux in, you are good to go.240sxFTW wrote:Okay so with that cable, i need to buy another cable that has the red and white jacks into a a single headphone jack? Or into a usb for my ipod cable....im a litle confused. Ill take my deck out tomorrow and see if thats the right port for the IPBUS cable to go into, it looks different though. The pink port has alot of different prongs and the IPBUS cable only has one.
No i didnt find the model of the deck, unless its that "mosfet" writing on the front, i googled that but came up with various pioneer models, not mine. Ill take out the deck tomorrow, take a pic of the back and post it here. If i can buy the cable off ebay for cheap that would be great (im seriously tight on cash). Thanks again thoughahagy8720 wrote:If your deck is I-Pod ready you can check various sites for the I-pod cable. It will integrate your ipod so that it charges through your deck and is controllable through the deck itself(shows all you playlists ect.). That way you can run the cable to your glove box and just plug it up and forget about it. I know best buy has them because i work there but i don't know what your deck needs if its even compatible with that type of cable. Anyway you could find the model of your deck?
