I recently did an akebono upgrade to my 2011 Infiniti M56x. The problem I'm having now is that my brakes don't apply unless the pedal is pressed all the way down. The brakes were bled. I'm just trying to see if I missed any step, and advice would greatly appreciated thanks

Did they come with new brake lines? Perhaps something is up with the lines and they can't give the necessary pressure to the bigger caliper?

No they didn't, but I'm pretty the lines are the same between the sport and non sport package...

I had a shop do mine and don't have your issue with stock break lines, do you have enough break fluid?

Not sure if you're aware, but the sport brakes have 2 bleeders per caliper.

You should list all the parts you had replaced and installed on your car in regards to the Akebono brake upgrade. Seeing that you retained your stock brake lines, did you have the banjo bolts upgraded to the proper ones that are needed?

I suspect that there is still air in the system. Try rebleeding.

Is there a special banjo bolt I should use?
