Ok so I recently upgraded to the akebono brake kit, the kit came with banjo bolts, however they were to short for the stock brake lines. I ended up using the banjo bolts from the stock calipers, the seemed to work but I was wrong. I'm getting a slight leak from the front lines. My question is, is there an in between banjo bolt I can use? Do I try and put a little thread lock on it? Do I (absolutely) need to replace the brake lines? Will Goku make it back in time to save earth? Find out next time on Dragon Ball Z....

Any info will be gravely appreciated

Was the Akebono kit you ordered intended for the M? Also how did you order it from? The reason why I am asking is that I see that alot of online stores like Tunerz Store, Concept Z, and etc offer these Akebono kits and I was always wondered how accurate their parts lists are.

I purchased it from a guy on FB, but to my understanding it's the same kit everything bolted right up

I spoke to Concept Z and it sounds like we have two options in regards to the brake lines.

Option #1 Replaced all the banjo bolts with these:

Or

Option #2 Upgrade to Goodridge Stainless Steel brake lines.

Glad to hear it. What did you have to do to resolve it? I am going to be upgrading my brake calipers within the next 6 weeks once the weather warms up.
