So I was just wondering if the intake manifold off a 240sx would work on my hard body? Also Im wondering about ways to run the cold air intake...any pics on that?

yes it does, and you could just run a carb hat with a cone filter but its kinda pointless

The truck ka24e isn't actually carburetted, (it's sequential injection), but the downdraft throttle body looks/mounts very much like a carb does, and so uses a similar style "hat". The 240sx ka24e intake manifold flows more air, and will net about 6hp more than the stocker. You may lose some low end grunt, which is important if you have big tires and crawl over massive obstacles like I used to with my 31x10.5's. IDK, how to run a cold air intake because I have it like this...[IMG][/IMG]wide open with a k&n, I used to have it set up differently until I saw this same thing on another forum. I can't believe I didn't think of that!

Im still getting with the whole working on my nissan truck and what will work on it and what wont, so the info. is great everyone...thank you....also i have been looking at swapping out the automatic trans with a 5 speed, i have found one that is out of a 97 hardbody would that match up with my 93 hardbody? Also im wanting to swap my intake manifold, I found one off a 1990 240sx single cam and I was just wondering if that would also match up, it looked like it did but I was for sure!

Sounds like you have a lot of things on your to-do list. Good luck with your future plans. Nico has been a great resource for me.
