Do I need anything else to run it on my 93. I have a chance to pick it up local for under 100 used.

Only if you are running or installing a msd ignition as well.

quote from their website "* This Boost Timing Master must be used with an MSD 6, 7, 8 or 10 ignition control.*"

I think the one that works with the stock ignition is 5462.

Yeah, WD's link works with stock ignition. The one you mentioned 574-240SX, is for use in complementation with another MSD ignition unit.
