I want to relocate the battery on my car to the trunk, should I keep the negative terminal grounded to the blockor is it safe to ground it to the chasis of the car somewhere in thr trunk?

i just did this a few weeks ago, i went and got a flat head connection for the neg of the block, and grounded it to my chassis up front, and from the battery in the rear i grounded that to my chassis as well, no problems thus far.

I also just did this recently.

My recommendation is to ground your battery to a chassis point in the trunk. Use a grinder to get the paint off the metal for a decent ground. You don't need to run a ground all the way back up the side of the car.

Also... make sure you keep the engine block ground wire connected like it is. It should be grounded to the chassis somewhere near the battery tray. You need to keep the block grounded out.

Awesome. So I'll ground the battery at a chasis point in the back and ground the block somewhere near the battery tray! Thanks for the help!
