When nissan went to the s14 silvia, and switched to the notch top SR,Did the 180sx keep an "updated" version of the s13 SR, or did it get the notch top s14 SR also??

I think early 180 had the ca and the later years had the s13 blacktop Non noch top.

If im wrong please correct me.

First model 180's came out with CA's then redtop SR's and the the later Kouki models had S13 SR blacktops.

S13's always had the regular, non-vtc engines; whether they be red or blacktop. The heads make up for vtc-lackage with better flow design though.
