I have a Turbo Smart manual boost controler and i am always needing to adjust the boost depending on how hot or cold or how humid it is out side and it's really anoying. Will a electronic boost controler solve this? I understand why the manual boost controler need fiddeling with, its because it physicaly changes the boost reading going to the sensor but because a electronic boost controler tricks the ECU into thinking it is running less PSI will it still need to be changed? I REALLY want to solve this problem! thanks

The ECU doesn't control boost, it's actually controlled by the wastegate. And an EBC would solve your problem if it has more than 1 boost setting. My Blitz has 4 different settings so you could for instance set one for cold weather, one for hot, etc. Switch it on the fly.

Thanks, but i am pritty sure electronic boost controlers trick the ecu. It makes the ecu think its reading less boost i am like 80 % on that. Can anyone clairafy this?

sorry dude, but you couldn't be more wrong. the ecu has nothing to do with boost period.

the boost controller doesn't even wire into the ecu. anyways, the boost controller controls the actuator. it reads the boost pressure and then tells the actuator to open based on the desired boost pressure. it does this through the use of a boost control solenoid. it intercepts the boost pressure (usually from the cold pipe or however you have it plumbed) and when the desired boost pressure is close it starts sending the pressure to the actuator on the wastegate which opens it.
