There has been alot of BS floting around about importing cars and stuff, but what im wondering is what is actually required to register a kit car?

For example: If i bought a R32 GTS striped rolling chas. (and i mean completely bare), and bought all of the parts required to make it run (like a sr20det, meggala style ;) ) with recipts and all, i could put it on the street?

Thanks for any credible, helpful info anyone can post up...

I believe Swift_Drift would probably be able to answer this one. He seems to be fairly well informed on these matters.

Does that mean we could register silvias and 180sx's as kitcars?
