I'm just wondering does anyone know why the Nissan engineers decided to stick run a 4 lug pattern on the base and LE 240s but 5 lug on the SE? This is driving me nuts, everywhere I look I don't see any cars with a 4 lug pattern except on crappy honda civics and the occassional other car. I have the 4 lug on my S14 (LE) and I really don't wantot o have to shell out cash to get a 5 lug pattern just so I can run bigger breaks and have a better selection of wheels. So can anyone tell me why nissan would run a 5 lug on the bulk of their line up but keep a 4 lug on the non SE 240's? Why no just have a 5 lug pattern on all models so that all the parts would be interchangable.

how sure are you that your car is an actual LE?

the 240 is a light car, it doesn't really need 5 lugs, and neither do you if all you want is bigger brakes. wheels are a little harder, but not bad if you look at some used JDM wheel sites.
