Hey..does anyone know if lowering the car voids the warranty of our cars?

And..would just adding the stillen front lip/skirts w/o lowering the car actually make a noticeable difference?? the pictures of the stillen mods on their website show them on a lowered a/c if im not mistaken. pls help...thanks alot!

It will most likely void any warranty on your struts if they ever go bad, not the whole car.

well, isn't the lowering springs to not only lower the car but to reduce the ugly wheel gap? The Stillen fascia is a bit lower than stock but the side skirts are hardly lower than stock. With Eibach springs and the Stillen fascia, i'm barely clearing my driveway and the parking curb. And i do mean barely

A bit lower than stock? NO SIR!! It's a lot lower than stock when combined with the lowering springs, about 3 - 3.5 inches total lower,,, makes a HUGE difference regarding curbs and inclines! Just ask Blake!

Doc, aren't you forgetting that I have the Stillen fascia? I am picking and choosing where I enter parking lots now

didn't read your post all the way... but I think we both agree... clearance wise, the stillen fascia, plus lowerig springs is VERY LOW!!!

And it looks like the front lip on the white turbo coupe is even lower

so just getting the eibach lowering springs would definitely reduce the wheel gap? because that what i would really want to do.

well, in my opionion, the pro kit springs + either 19" or 20" significantly deceases the wheel gap.. its not as evident with 18" tires because the tire sidewalls are large.. but even the drop on 18" willl look better than the stock 4 x 4 look!

Where can I buy the eibach pro kit springs for the A/C I just bought 20" wheels and still have a gap............... plus I like the lowered look. I am worried if I will notice a big difference on the street from what I have now.

I have the 3.5 cvt fully loaded 20" VCT Abruzzi wheels 245/35/20 tires. Now I am thinking about the eibach pro kit......... but I am concerned about the ride as far as increased road noise?............ tires rubbing.......noisy springs.....

How about we start a new group buy?...................

Does any one know some one or who can recommend a shop in the Bay area (san Jose) to do the work.

ThanksMike

We have both a 3.5 and 2.5 Altima coupe.. and have had sedan's in and out for various projects..

The 3.5L is the blue coupe you've seen, that now has most of the stuff we sell, the full fascia, rockers, roof/rear wings, AP Racing Brakes front and rear, intake, Eibach, sway bar, yadda yadda yadda...

The 2.5L has been used for turbo development, and is currently on tour with Hot Import Nights as it was built in conjunction with the National Guard.. done in digital camo and green, and is built to full show car status...

For most intents and purposes, the 4 and 6 cyl's are basically the same.. some minor tweaks, and minor suspension differences, but nothing dramatic.

Mine is lowered with the front lip from Stillen and I haven't rubbed anything yet and I'd say I've only been semi cautious over bumps and inclines (haven't paid attention to approaching them at angles). However I've been really careful when pulling into parking spots as it would definitely hit most all parking blocks and curbs if pulled all the way in.

Brian, I was gonna sk you about your car, curb-clearance wise, because I am thinking of getting the STillen front lip like you have. It doesn't appear to be that much lower than stock (compared to the front fascia).

Ride feels almost the same as stock with my 20" wheels on 245/35/20 Nankang NS-II tires. I have 8.5" wide, +35 offset wheels with the Pro-kit... and my tires don't rub at all, and I've bottomed out a number of times.. Looks like I could get away with +30 offset if necessary, but that would be pushing it.

regarding the group buy, I doubt they would do another one, at least not for a few months.... but who knows, Stillen has the absolute best customer service and busniess approach that I have ever seen in a company. (And I'm not sponsored by them so I have nothing to gain by making that statement)
