A few months back I got Intrax springs and Tokico blues shocks/struts. The back was already pretty low because of the subs I have in the trunk. Since I've lowered it, it looks like the back has busted shocks because it's lower then the front. I know when you lower it the back should be higher (for that aggressive look) So do you think I could put back on my stock springs in the back (with the subs) and the leave the Intrax on the front. Opinions please.Josh

No.

Springs are made to work together, you'll have different spring rates F/R which will negatively impact handling.

How much can the subs weigh? Shouldn't really impact ride height unless they're massive (and plenty).

Sorry guys - I should let a 240 expert answer this....

I mean they aren't anything special. Just normal Polk subs with a box and an amp. It's just average. I will take a pic tomorrow and show everyone and then I guess we can touch on it again.Josh

Drop in a big, heavy engine to counterbalance.

Correct, if you put the stock springs in the rear you are going to create a HORRIBLE push condition (understeer, alot of it).

Not only will you decrease the rear spring rate which will cause the car to want to understeer more, but you are raising the rear which loads more weight onto the front wheels, causing the car to load the front tires more and cause understeer.

If the subs weigh a solid 50+ lbs. they can effect the ride height, especially on softer suspensions like the one your running. However it won't be but by a few tenths of an inch.

Does your car understeer? ... Put a big engine in the front so it understeers more!

Ummm, no. The rear is usually lower than the front.

Yeah I tried, it still sits higher in the front. I guess that's just the way the springs are. I have seen pics of other people with Intrax and they looked like that too.Josh
