Just put LED's under my headlights with the guide dangeris did on "Altima Coupe Audi R8 LED strip retrofit" and the LED's didnt come out nearly as bright as the pics he put up:

Is there something i did wrong or something i could do to make them brighter?

My life long problem bro... lol yeah I felt the same way about mine... you have to have that perfect time between 7-8ish when its getting dark but not to dark.... but im sure there is nothing you did wrong its just that they are not that bright to begin with....

This is why I did my single led 10mm cause I wanted them brighter which they arent really there just bigger... but whatever.. lol

Post a pic and ill let you know if its wrong or not.

Yeah something definitely not right there. Are they the side emitting ones or the standard strip?

those are the ones i got

I got them installed at the shop i go to to get everything done on my car. Went to them cause i wanted them to run a switch inside the car so i can put them on whenever, and cause i don't know the first thing about electrical. So if there's something I should check to see if its done right would someone be able to post some pictures as well as an explanation?

I dont think they are installed INcorrectly, if anything just a tad bit low. Dangeris' are a lot brighter, but if memory serves correctly they are also INSIDE the actual headlamp and therefor a lot more visible. Looks like yours are on the outside of the lamp in between the fascia? Might be blocking some of the light output.

The write up i did shows the flexible LEDs outside and underneath the headlight. They were still bright and VERY visible during the day. I later re-installed new ones inside my housing underneath the headlight bezel so it would be, as DJBeasy said, more visible. We need better pics of your headlight/LEDs. Can you take a couple more and post them up?

And I see you're in LI. There's a bunch of members there that could have and would have been happy to help you install those. King Of Lights (PheNom78), Mattv609 and a few other members live out that way. PM them first before calling a shop next time. I know PheNom would be in his glory to help ya out!

Just went back to the shop and told them about it. It ended up being the switch they used so they put a different one in and it looks a lot better. Ill post some pics later today.
