Question about intake piping...

hey guys, I have an RB20 from a Skyline. The pipe that crosses over the engine and goes into the intake manifold has the blow-off valve attached to it.

I had a blow-off valve installed earlier on the tube around turbo. My buddy ran a tube from the blow-off to the intake manifold. It drives good... sounds great.

I have a Cefiro crossover pipe. It is just a straight tube... it has no blow-off valve on it. I want to install it in the place of the skyline pipe.

Here is my question... If I install the cefiro pipe, I would have to seal off the pipe that goes into to skyline blow off. Is this going to cause any problems? The pipe that I would be sealing off looks like it comes from near the turbo. Would I be better off sealing it at the bottom? Can I even swap the pipes?

As its set up now, the stock BOV is sealed. The line that originally ran to it, we lengthened, and is now hooked up to the new BOV. You can simply swap out the pipes, as nothing is connected to the stock BOV.

I know that you sealed the line that goes from the stock BOV to the intake manifold.. there is a screw in the end of that little tube.

But, there is a big tube that runs into the BOV seperate from the normal intake piping. Do I need to seal that off? Or did you already guys already do that? I can't really tell where that thing originates from.

That's all very confusing, a diagram would help. It sounds like something is hooked up wrong though..

We got it figured out. He was taling about the hose that recirculates the vented air back into the pre-turbo "accordian" hose.
