I found this guy in germany who is selling his 97 supra twin turbo for really cheap pirce and he says that it will cost about $2500 to ship it to me here in the states and it will take about a week for the car to get to me. My question is doesn't it have to go through a customs check before I can get the car. I think he said the car was bought here in the US and then brought to Germany, but I not sure on that. If this were true though would it affect anything if it does go to customs? And has anyone ever registered a car that was from another country, will I have to deal with a bunch of crap before I can even drive the car?

Does he have any documentation showing that he bought it from the states?
