question about idle
question about idle
this is for thous out there with 06 MT, but anyone can comment. when you start your car on a cold or cool morning for the first time that day what does your rpm's jump up to. and what should normal be. i know there was a post about theirs reving up and then dropping down but this isnt that. it jumps up to around 2200 and then slowly drops as the motor warms up.

mine jumps to 1600 and then slows down. do you have mods? h0nd@ sux. nice profile pic.

mine also jump to about 2,000. sometimes a little more. I've also got an 06MT, so I know exactly what you're talking about. I think it's probably normal, as I just had service done by a reputable dealer, and they found nothing wrong.

Mine was at 1800 when I started it this morning.
