Hey, I recently installed teflon coated stainless braided lines from my BMC all the way to my calipers and I am wondering if anyone would happen to know the heat resistance of this material. I searched around but found no answers yet. Thanks! :D

Wait. . .

Did you bypass all of the hard lines. Or replace all of the soft lines with stainless steel lines?

To answer your question; I have no idea. But let me ask a couple. What kind of heat are you concerned about? Brake heat, exhaust heat, under hood heat???? Are you having a problem, or just want to know??? Why haven't you asked the manufacture? I would think they would have an idea or two on their own product.

I replaced the hard and soft lines with a one piece stainless line going from the bmc straight to the calipers. Nothing is wrong, I was just curious. I ended up heat tape wrapping the wires that run behind the block and I've run the car a few times and neither the wires or stainless lines show any kind of wear from the heat. Holds up good!! :DThanks anyway though
