question about headlights...

How many different types of s15 headlights are there. I've heard of the blackhousing (which were more expensive) lights. Can someone post pics and let me know the difference so I can decide. Also at any time did they come with hid and which are best to upgrade.

It's about 3k or so to convert to an s15 doghouse. Is that your plan? I'd probably take whatever I could get my hands on.
