I was told that if a remote starter is installed and you activate it, once you get into the car and step on the break the engine stops and you will have to start restart it again. This is unfortunate of all push to start vehicles. Can anyone confirm this and if you did have a remote starter installed has there been any issues due to the complexity of the Murano?

Seems like no one puts remote starters on their vehicle. Just to let you know that I recently had a Viper remote starter installed and it works great! The engine does not shut off when I enter or press down on the break as most installers had said that it would. I just press on the Start Engine once to turn on ACC and 3 seconds later press on it again to switch it to On and drive away. :mike :dblthumb:

I am sure it is a bit more complicated with the "Push Button" ignitions that require a foot on the brake to start the engine.
