You are probably getting around 14-15 mpg if you are getting 226 on a full tank. I seen some that get low to mid 20s. Depends how you drive and if you get it tuned regularly.

Oh then I'm not sure then. With the 6 gallons you fill up you can probably get between 250-280.

have you tried fixing your problem? there is a cylinder inside the gas tank that tells how much gas you have.

My gas light has only come on once and i've never seen it again. Even when it was empty.

Keep track of what your gas mileage is- the real way. Keep track of how many miles you've driven, then fill up the tank and find out how many gallons you've used. Divide, then conquer. Then just reset your odometer and you should be able to figure out how far you can go.Your 91's gas tank will hold 15.9 gallons.

I have a 95 s14 with 85000miles and i get about 19 miles per gallon. i go about 285 miles each time between fill ups. My exhaust smells like gas bad and my car backfires at 2900 RPMS consistently on deceleration. My transmission is automatic. Any tips anyone?

Your '93 s13 gas tank holds 15.9 gallons. The low fuel light should come on with about 2 gallons left, although the sensors for this light are not always accurate (also dependant on how fuel is sloshing around in the tank, and whether the car is level, etc).20-22 does seem a little low, but it depends on how you're driving it. Is it short distances on city streets? Is it more than 10 minutes at a time at higher speeds? All these factors come into play as well.

I get anywhere b/w 25-30 mpg mixed city/hgwy driving and thats with no rear O2 sensor at all. If I replaced that sensor it might get even better. I usually go about 350 miles before i fill up.
