I plan on going ka-t eventually in the next few months. I have a fault in my fuel system so I'm going to order an entire new set up. pretty much what I am wondering is if this project silvia fuel rail will work with stock injectors for now. I also plan on buying a sard fuel pressure regulator to run with it also

I would just keep the side feed fuel rail. There are a lot of injecotr options with the side feed. Also anything over 550cc top feed are usually low impedence. Meaning you will need to wire in resistors or get a resistor box. It's not hard to do, but still a pain.

There are some nice high impedence side feed imjectors though. Tomei and RC engineering, HKS, DW's all make high impedence, side feed injectors to about 750cc after that they are all low impededence. So i guess if your going to go huge injectors get a top feed and wire in the resistors. If you are going to go the 550cc route then just use the stock side feed. Or if you want it to look badass you can buy the topfeed rail. The HKS rail is awesome, and so is the GReddy one. But then you would have to buy the new top-feed injectors too.

I also had probloems with my BNIB Sard FPR. I don;t recommend just through my bad experience with it. but a lot people run SARD ones without t a probelm so maybe im just bias now. I just a aeromitive FPR and it works great so IDK.

PS if you going for the 300-350hp route then just getr a good set of big injectors. Forget 550's and go right to 740's or 880's. That way when your ready to up the power the fuel system is already on place.
