Question about fuel lines

Does the fuel line coming out of the fuel filter go to #1 or #2? It's an s14 SR if that helps. Thank you.

The line coming from the top of the filter should go on the fule rail on the opposite side of the regulator. The return line should be hooked up to the regulator.
