This place has a TON of nice venders. Buy from them!nismoboy333 wrote:is ebay a good or bad place to buy motors? is there a company that is known for quality at a good price?
Maybe but having those things included isn't guaranteed with most vendors. A lot are kind enough to include it, but it isn't something you should bank on. If it's the OP's first swap I'd recommend a front clip. It helps seeing how everything is arranged in the engine bay. To answer the original question no doubt you could request them to remove the body parts but they probably wont take much if any off the price. Most front clips have damaged body parts from the original owners, the half cutting process, and shipping so the companies count the body parts as a bonus for you but not a part of the price.codyace wrote:Your best bet would be to just buy a motorset...they come with everything you need. i bought my car with the motor all ready in it and the conversion done.nismoboy333 wrote:about how much did you pay for your clip?
Thre is absolutly no need for a clip. What is there to see?redtop91 wrote:

thanx in advance.
hey give me a break that post was alot more legible then alot of my other onesduffman1278 wrote:a KA clip????
Maybe not for almighty codyace, but once again it really helps for first time swappers. You knew a lot coming into S-Chassis or cars in general but a lot of us are starting from scratch. I can say that seeing how everything was stock helped me to make my swap clean and neat.codyace wrote:

I know computer nerds, about as mechanically inclined as a football, intall sr20's with no issues.redtop91 wrote:

I find it funny that most of the people talking against front clips don't even have the slightest idea what they do and don't include.idahotuner wrote:but most clips have the body panels removed.
Exactly. You've swapped before. Like we have already discussed.marcus8789 wrote:hey bro i have just finished a sr and a RB swap on both of my cars and i will never buy a front clip again!
No one said it was. It makes for a cleaner swap.marcus8789 wrote:doing a sr swap is pretty simple and a front clip is not required in my opinion!
