hey guys i know this isnt really the place to post this but I'm thinking about picking up a fj20. my question is does anyone know what is involved with an fj20 in a s13 swap. I recall someone posting that i will need 1 fj motor mount and 1r32 motor mount just to mount the thing.

any answers would be great

thankswei

I don't know what's involved with installing an FJ20, but I sure as hell know where there's ntwo of them just chilling and can be purchased at a nice price for both of them.

lol you still have both of those fuggers dee? :pface

anumeric, themadscientist made an excellent post outlining what you need to swap an FJ20, so search for that post... its kinda old. Also, email him! he still answers emails, he just doesn't post much anymore:( IIRC he had an FJ in his silvia, so he could give you a pretty good step by step process

the only problem with the FJ is finding parts WILL be impossible... not next to impossible, or hard... IMPOSSIBLE

my two cents:)

Firstly--dude, you need to get AIM.

Secondly--I was the one TMS was responding to a while back. I told ya it's an R31 and S12 mount. The hood will never clear, and some random other, annoying crap. :)

Edit: And why the hell would you want an FJ now? I think getting the CA in and running would be a good start. ;)
