Question about fender flares?

The fender flares on the 2002 pathfinder, do any of you know where you can get that rubber stripping thats on them, mine look like sh*t.

try wiping them with acetone... it dissolves a small amount of the rubber and you can wipe it off. mine were yellowed with age- they look like new now. work quickly because acetone evaporates immediately

hmm ok, could i use nail polish remover?, and also couldnt i damage the paint around it with this? im thinking of putting it on like a q-tip and then wiping hard with a rag?

yeah man nail polish remover is acetone... lacquer thinner would prolly work too. In either case its likely a good idea to avoid getting solvents like that on the paint- although your clear coat is pretty resistant to most chemicals.

thanks man, in some areas it doesnt get it to exacly as smooth as in others but hell it works, gonna do it when i do my detailing monday, thanks alot
