an exhaust is REALLY straightforward to put on. . it's just a couple of bolts and some rubber hangers that you have to deal with. . . if you have floor jacks and a socket set then you can put it in yourself. . .

as for the piping. . . i'm no expert but most people say that on a NA car, 2.5" is plenty big. . . 3" is for turbo'd cars that need to evacuate more exhaust and don't worry about backpressure. . . from what I understand, you may lose some low-end power with such large piping on your car but it won't really hurt your car or anything

look at the blitz NUR spec R cat back exhaust is a lil more pricey but you get what u pay for if you look around no more than $600 top of the line. i love apexi but..... just get a day off from work or school and look under your car find your exhaust remove it and take it from there DIRT GREASE and OIL are your friends

NA engines stay around 2.5", turbo 3 is fine. You will actually lose power if you use too big of an exhaust.

Question about some of the exhausts on tougefactory.com. Do the mufflers come out at an angle similar to an apexi exhaust? I really like the look of the EXAS Spec 3 System if it comes out and up from under the bumper like iI think it does but I'd rather be sure before dropping $800 on an exhaust.

Second question, Im going to be using the exhaust on a car equipped with a ca18det. Will the 3.55inch exhaust be worth it over the 3.15 inch exhaust? Im looking for around 300whp by the time Im done with the car.

if by a "whole kit" you mean a "cat-back exhaust" that's specifically built for your car? no. . there's no welding involved. . . it should come with all the piping that'll bolt right up to the catalytic converter. . .

Why do a majority of people in this forum choose the Apexi dual to the single?
