Try searching it up. im sure plenty have asked that question before

DjNikos, you have some big balls telling someone to search, after all the questions you have asked me on IM, that could have been answered by a simple search. -beancooker-

Yes, it is possible. There is a ton of work to doing so. You will need an engine and ECU just for starters. You will also need other fittings and wiring harnesses that you will not know about until you are in need of them, or find someone who has done this. Some things will have to be rearranged. Look at an 02 Maxima next to a 96 Maxima. That is a perfect example of what will need to be rearranged.

Yes you can swap the VQ35 into a '96. You can even use your ECU as well as long as you use the inner and outer timing cases, chain, and sprockets from a 3L (and do some modifications). You will also need cam spacers and will need to convert the TB to cable driven as the VQ is computer controlled. The VQ fuel rail is returnless so you will need to do some work there as well.

Lots of little things to deal with. '02+ ECU would be better (due to mappings and such), but the amount of effort and additional parts make it a hard choice to use.

yes, i do got some big balls. But thats besides the point. Shoot me if you must for being a hypocrit. Im only human, I guess i do gotta get my **** straight. You could have just sent me an email, would have been a bit nicer than humiliating me but im not one to take it too hard anyways. Nothing else i can say about that other than Im through with asking questions until i start modding my car. Its going to take some serious issues for me to ask another question. =p
