ok. i had an incident with my clutch fan. and with that said it f'ed some stuff..

so i went ahead and bought some altima fans. i wired them so that they are either low or i can have them on high.

i did this by running both fans(under one power and one ground) to the existing a/c fan wiring.

and the other 2 positives and 2 grounds on a switch.

now to my question. today i was driving around(not having the fans on at all, i usually flip the switch when im at a stop light or something) i was at a stop light and my fans came on automatically. now i didnt have the a/c on or the switch flipped on the on position. they simply turned on. is this normal?

when they were on, i flipped the switch to the on position and then they kicked on to high obviously cuz the low's were already on.

anybody get what im trying to say here?. so im thinking the a/c wiring kicked my fans on cuz my car was getting too hot?

no i removed the electric a/c fan and clutch fan. i have both fans (on a low setting) connected to the a/c fan wires. and then have the other setting on a switch

the AC wires are also kicked on by the ecu when the ecu's coolant temp sensor thinks the car is too hot.

people, LISTEN to this. the AC fans are thermostatically controlled via the ecu.

second, UNDO YOUR WIRING. put the wire strippers/tape/unfounded confidence in wiring away. lock it up.

learn how current/circuits/proper wiring techniques work. learn it well

then try again. until then, enjoy driving a timebomb. fun times.

and do NOT post on here "how do i wire it correctly then?"

this has been covered more than michael jacksons death.
