ive tried this vacuum leak test because i have the symptons of a vacuum leak. however it says you can use a ball pump or a bike pump...i used a bike tire pump and its seems a little uncertian if a mere bike pump can pump the little air it does all the way through the charge pipes..intercooler..and into the intake manifold to find vacuum leaks..that would require A LOT of pumping...i did A LOT of pumping and it seems im getting no where. are you guys you dont need an electric air pump or some sort? a small pump that is used for convienient use does not seem effective

I used an air compressor. And I also hooked up a gauge to the FPR line so I coudl see how much pressure. But for a vac leak, just look at your vacuum at idle. 20"-24" is the norm.

Bike pump.lol
