How do you tell the difference between the hitachi or the mitsu distributer?

haha i just had this SAME problem. it depends on what engine it is. if its the ka24de then both the hitachi and mitsubishi rotors are flat, i think theres a slight difference, but most the time on the mitsubshi there is a little mistu logo on the rotor. they are both black pieces, and both fairly flat units. if its the ka24e the whole unit is taller. the mitsubishi rotor is fatter than the hitachi one, but they are both really tall units

please someone correct me if im wrong, but im 98% its right

k for the 24e i dont think it matters if its hitachi or mitsu. the rotor for the mitsu is gunna be a bit thinner on top, while the hitachi is gunna be a bit wider. however the hitachi is like a millimeter or two skinnier at the female part for the rod.
